Olivia Gazalé was born on May 16, 1964 in Tokyo.

Graduated from the IEP Paris (1987) and a DEA from Philosophy (1986), she is Professor of philosophy in preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (Integral and Lycée Sainte Barbe, Paris) from 1989 to 1997, then Master of lectures at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Political Issues Course) from 1998 to 2008.

In 1997, she co-founded the Mardis de la Philo, which offer lectures led by the best philosophy teachers and experts chosen for their talent as smugglers. She is chairing it until 2012 and presents more than a hundred conferences on a wide variety of topics.

She is also editor of Philosophie Magazine from 2005 to 2008 and program director of Cerdi (Center of Studies and Reflection of Executives) from 1998 to 2000.

She speaks English, German and Italian
