Eric Wastiaux is a journalist, author-director of documentaries for 20 years. For the last five years, Eric Wastiaux has devoted numerous documentaries to the food industry, denouncing marketing practices that encourage people to consume too much at the expense of their health, or highlighting the excesses of industrial bio.
All his latest films have been audience successes for France 5 and France 2, exceeding each broadcast by the million viewers.

For ten years, as Editor-in-Chief for the major production companies, he rewrote and restructured Docs du Dimanche, Prohibited Zone, Exclusive Investigations, TF1 Reports, All in all, or Special Envoy.

Trained at the Bordeaux Journalism School (class of 1995) Éric hosts croporate events as well. He animated  the Symposium AllEnvi (National Alliance for Environmental Research) "Innovations for sustainable urban agriculture" organized by BPI France, IRD, INRA, CNRS, AgroParisTech, IFSTAR, INERIS, among many other research centers, which brought together some thirty researchers, urban communities, associations, and professionals of the highest level involved in urban agriculture.

For six years, Wastiaux has also been helping companies build strong messages, sustainably improving the expression of their leaders.

In 2018, Eric wanted to specialize in projects dealing with positive solutions helping to build a better future, be it in ecology, agri-food, well-being or NGOs. To this end, he created a communications consulting company, EWCom, which recently carried out several successful communication missions in the areas devoted to positive solutions.


A frequent contributor to the United Nations in New York (Special Political Decolonization Committee and 6th Committee (Legal)), Eric Wastiaux speaks either English or French.
